What is a CRA?

Community Redevelopment Area (CRA), under Florida Law (Chapter 163, Part III), is defined as and area that local governments are able to designate areas as Community Redevelopment Areas when certain conditions exist. CRAs are funded by any future increases in property values which are set aside to support economic development projects within that area.
