What is a CRA?

Community Redevelopment Area (CRA), under Florida Law (Chapter 163, Part III), is defined as an area that local governments are able to identify and designate as Community Redevelopment Areas when certain conditions exist. CRAs are funded by any future increases in property values which are then set aside to support economic development projects within that area.
