Applications are now being accepted for five (5) City Commission appointed two-year term positions to serve on the temporary West City Steering Committee Advisory Board, which will collaborate, discuss, and identify a strategic redevelopment action plan for the West City Community Redevelopment Area (WCCRA).
The WCCRA Redevelopment Plan will identify goals designed to target the specific redevelopment needs for the WCCRA, utilizing recommendations from the Steering Committee. Once the WCCRA Redevelopment Plan is adopted by the City Commission, the WCCRA Steering Committee will dissolve.
Applications are being accepted through Wednesday, May 29, 2024, at 5:00pm. Committee member appointment is tentatively scheduled for the City Commission meeting held on Monday, June 10, 2024, at 5:00pm. West City CRA residents, business owners, and community stakeholders are strongly encouraged to apply. See the application for appointment criteria and preference.
