CRA staff, consultants, and the WCCRA Steering Committee have worked diligently to draft the proposed West City Community Redevelopment Area (WCCRA) Redevelopment Plan (Plan) which provides a six-point action strategy to revitalize the newest CRA in the City of St. Augustine. Below is a timeline which lays out the path to Plan adoption.
April 28, 2025: CRA meeting authorization of Plan review by the City's Local Planning Agency (LPA), the Planning and Zoning Board (PZB)
May 6, 2025: LPA/PZB approves the proposed Plan conforms to the City's Comprehensive Plan and recommendation for adoption by the Commission.
May 12, 2025: CRA Special meeting resolution adoption and authorization to the Commission.
May 13, 2025: Notice to Taxing Authorities
June 9, 2025: Commission meeting first reading/hearing of the Ordinance adopting the Plan
June 23, 2025: Commission meeting second reading and formal adoption of the Ordinance adopting the Plan.
