Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA) staff, consultants, and the West City Community Redevelopment Area (WCCRA) Steering Committee have worked diligently to draft the proposed WCCRA Redevelopment Plan (Plan) which provides a six-point action strategy to revitalize the newest CRA special district in the City of St. Augustine. Below is the Plan adoption schedule:
March 27, 2025: Notice to Taxing Authorities.
April 28, 2025: CRA meeting for authorization of Plan review by the City's Local Planning Agency (LPA), the Planning and Zoning Board (PZB).
May 6, 2025: LPA/PZB meeting for approval that the proposed Plan conforms to the City's Comprehensive Plan, then recommendation to the CRA for adoption.
May 12, 2025: CRA Special meeting resolution adoption and authorization to proceed to the Commission.
May 13, 2025: Notice to Taxing Authorities.
June 9, 2025: Commission meeting first reading/hearing of the Ordinance adopting the Plan.
June 23, 2025: Commission meeting second reading and formal adoption of the Ordinance adopting the Plan.
